Hilary Duff denies baby rumours

Actress Hilary Duff has denied she is the latest celebrity to join the Hollywood baby brigade.

Star magazine reported Duff and her husband, Mike Comrie, were expecting their first child.

They quoted a friend of the couple as saying: "They weren't actively trying to conceive but agreed that if it happened, it happened. They're ecstatic."

Duff has since taken to Twitter to deny the report.

"Wow what a way to wake up and find out your pregs! It's just a rumor guys! Not true. But thanks for all the good wishes! Lol (sic)," she tweeted.

There has been somewhat of a baby boom in Hollywood in the last month.

Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish became parents to a baby boy, while Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban added another baby girl to their brood. Owen Wilson also became a father last week.

Victoria Beckham, Selma Blair, Alicia Silverstone and Jewel have all recently confirmed they are pregnant, while there have been unconfirmed reports that Khloe Kardashian and Kate Hudson are also both having babies.
